The Caverna Athletic Department, for some time now, has contemplated what
five Caverna players would make up our tradition rich roundball program’s
five starters. Since our inception in 1950, we have seen a steady stream of
excellent basketball players starting with Buddy Stuart in 1950-51 and
continuing today with Mason Faulkner. In between Stuart and Faulkner names
like : Wendell Cherry, Chet Adair, Jimmy Godwin, Ralph Isenberg, Dennis
Doyle, Phil Rogers, Tim Woodard, Steve Neal, Ned Hill, Jeff Edwards, James
Percell, Kevin Page, “Moose” Larimore, Jason Claycomb, Trevent Hayes,
Brandon Adams, David Pedigo, B.J. Nuckols, Jay Bradley and several more
could be included.
With input from Caverna Alumni, school records and other sources…and
subject to change over the coming years but, as of right now, the Caverna
Athletic Department is pleased to recognize a consensus all-time starting
lineup for our 65th year anniversary.
