The Colonel bowlers were in action tonight agains a tough Greenwood squad. The Lady Colonels took a hard earned win 3-2 over the Lady Gators. This brings the Lady Colonels season record to two wins and zero loses.

The ladies got off to a tough start dropping the first game by a total of 47 pins. The ladies were led by Shiana Smith with a 139 game. Smith was followed closely by Katy Phipps with a 130. The ladies got rolling in the second game. The ladies jumped on the Lady Gators taking the game with a 228 pin victory. The Lady Colonels were paced by Phipps with a career high score of 220. Phipps posted a two game score of 350 to lead the Colonels. Smith posted another 139, 278 total, Madison Patel rolled a 133, 255 total, and Megan Cox with 192 total. In the Baker’s matches the ladies split with Greenwood 1-1 to bring the match all square. The Lady Colonels took the win on total pin count 1153-949 to take the match 3-2.

The Colonel bowlers are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Russell Springs to take on the Russell County Lakers at 12:00 noon at Laker Lanes.
